With the vision of providing young people with the opportunity
to realise their potential by building skills and confidence
in communication, we organize the International Public Speaking
Competition (IPSC) each year.
The competition has been initiated by ESU back in 1950s,
and has been held at international level since 1981 and is
one of the ESU's most successful and far-reaching international
programmes.
ESU Turkey has participated to this project since 2009. At
the finals of 2013 ESU Turkey IPSC held at Hisar School Göktürk
campus 24 participants representing 14 leading high schools
of Turkey have competed, and the grand jury have awarded Ms.
Deniz Athena Tekdemir from Kabataş Erkek Lisesi as the winner.
She will represent Turkey at ESU IPSC finals in London which
will run from Monday 13 to Friday 17 May 2013.
